Could simply be entering a building, and changeing remap while inside, and stepping out.

Perhaps needs couter to stop unneeded repreating, if that crashes it.

Otherwise perhaps do it by weapon switching. If thats easier for recording.

Edit: Hmm... a 8th page already? And if there's nothing at the moment to add, why not as well go film it? Or... as soon as i know either WHERE to place the dressing room, or if its a weapon switching instead. Weapon switching is easier to put in the script, or atleast quicker, as it doesnt need map editing.

In any case getting a little impatient, its been taking long for sure. Razz

Yeah, taking long but this isn't a million-dollar-movie... or is it? lol

I prefer the dress room because during the recording the guys are just running with fist and so are the cops...

I'm at the moment trying out some new "montage"-software and Audacity for sounds...

Maybe I'll fix a short preview movie this week, not sure.

About the script: The screen shots, arrows painting and putting in .pdf takes a bit long so maybe i'll try something else.

How are the other story's? Does Bit already have a script or will there be no talking in your movie? And what about Awi?

I think I will do the Stuntmen Mike's story in the movie Death Proof, Grindhouse Wink Sounds like a good idea? (Ps. my internet was fixed some days ago, joy Very Happy ) It would be cool if we could recognise a character (change color appearance etc.) and use one as a cameo in 2 movies instead of 1.

In that case i could do with some co-ordinates, screenshot, or whatever to show where to build the dressing room. Razz

Perhaps that get stuck in reverse sign place in the alleyway with gang members, and eddies on roof is a good place, under the sign?

Never heard of, but after some google'ing I figured out its a Tarantino movie and car that can't get broken???

@Carthief: I cleaned my hard disk and lost the maps you created and so I cannot view to record or get co-ordinates... Could you post them (3,4 players) here or, even better, PM them!

Hmmm... a car that doesnt break? There's no healing command, and the ONLY car i can think of that is bump proof is a tank, can make it bullet, rocket, flame, electreproof, etc.

Can make a car undamaged by ANYTHING though the one file nyc.gci.
Ill make a file soon, i guess, a little busy with school lately. Razz

no tank please:P Can you make the black gta_1 or/and the black furore GT unbreakable? It would be fun if some car (not a police car) was following me and tried to bump me of the road, that could be a second player. In a different scene it would be fun if alot of copcars were following me, not the army and no feds. (this part was not in grindhouse)

Editing script... Making a dressing room in the place i mentioned before...

And can ANYONE tell me what remaps the 4 different players will need?
And any other important things.
Ill make the dressing room use mugger style(remap AND body structure Razz)
Removed the daynight system, for filming.
Oh yeah, ill include that one file for editing cars too, ill place those 2 cars also somewhere. And dont worry... not a tank. Razz Now what was the thing for car's HP...

Will edit post when script(and map, etc) is done. Or other things.
Edit: or simply a new post.

EDIT: CAN SOMEONE MAKE THE GODAMN ADVERTISEMENTS STOP LAGGING MY COMPUTER!? I can barely check the topic occasionally...

remaps means what exactly? the appearance of the player or..please explain the term.

Got FireFox and IE, but FF loads too slow at start so i ussually dont use it.

And remaps are; the look of a ped, like cop, russian gang, cillivan, etc.
Lets try copy and paste from page in some thing you can call a manual? Razz

Just name needed looks of a ped, like russian, Zaibatsu, or even a cillivan!
Oh, the dressing room can change ANY players remap into a mugger.
And made something for the cars to be invincible, its a matter of replacing a file. And keep a copy of original.

Now only thing so far is the remaps needed, and im done! Razz

Hmmm... rather late... ill probaly will be ready to edit after school tomorrow. Bah, i hate school, ITS SO BORING! Razz Atleast its like... from near 08:00 till 15:00.

In the dressing room I would like to see the red colored stealer, normal cop, the 6 different multi player-player colors and that's it I guess...

Is it also possible to color/change the outfits/looks? Maybe I would like the two dudes (head actors in movie) have slightly different looks. Like one dude has yellow/white/blond hear instead of the normal color.

edit: I mean, if we are going to mod gta2 for the movie, we better do it GOOD!

Hmmm... Ill make a room for cop and mugger outfit.
Ill mess around with remaps a bit till i find something, maybe.

And will the map need a sty file with or without player arrows? Could easily use the sty of Tiny Town No Arrow. Does have WEIRD effects on sound, like, some things not being heared.

Ill go find some nice remaps now i guess, player limit is on 4 for now.

Edit: There are 7 gangs(not 6), and gang remaps are used for player colour, and colour of the stats like score, frags, etc. Helps to tell players apart in multiplayer.

Thanks for all the work, Carthief. To make it easier here are my demands (lol).

For my movie there will be a mod containing:

- No arrows
- No hud (no score etc.)
- No names
- Multiple clothes/outfits (mugger, cop, black outfit and blond dude)
- All clothes/outfits have access to all weapon (including the fist) (like a weapon room or everybody starts with all weapons (infinite))
- Cloth changing in map
- Possible 2 players enter 1 car (afterwards crash will be fixed with cutting movie. As long as they can get in and out the car pretty normal)
- Day and night/noon option (preferable changeable in map)
- Walking (I'm afraid this was not possible)
- Multiple cars available for 3 or 4 at the same time. In other words: We can drive multiple copcars or fbi cars or whatever to one spot so it looks more realistic. Not just one cop car in the whole map...


Question: Can you get rid of the "Busted" text? Not really necessary but might be nicer if we putted 'busted' on a normal black background in white letters.

Don't worry about the sounds. I have been using Audacity this week and notice it's pretty easy to make ambient (background) sounds and other stuff to give the movie more touch. Don't expect surround (5.1) sound but stereo will do I think.

Most is covered or can be made, i dont quite understand the multiply car things though, you mean some cars happening to be parked conveniently, for stealing or getting away from cops?
(if so, name a good spot, perhaps, if you can? Perhaps awi has a copy he can send, or me, perhaps want to contact, so i can send one?)

And ill guess ill make another clothes room or 2 and weapon room.
Ill put a script in for the... 2 players in 1 car, do remember the passenger loses control. Hmm... but for what players? Hmm... gonna be annoying to setup for FOUR players. Ill set player 1 as the driver. So the host will be the leader in the car.

I doubt i can get rid of "Busted!". Perhaps some options in powermanager.
Or edit the GXT, sounds risky to edit it though.

Might lead to crash, all these systems, etc. But i doubt the movie needs to roll for long, probaly stopping for another scene, etc.

And any other maps needed then the city and road?

Oh, the invincible car thing awi requested also is finished, its a edit in the car stats file, once you replace it, the GT-A1 and that one GT car will be INVINCIBLE, against even carbombs, just not trains, lol.

Ah, remembers me of a good ol time, hehe... 2P with messing with car stats, super speed tanks, INSANE police cars... I miss that...

Edit: Oh yeah, perhaps for fun show some bugs or failures in recording, if any, as they also sometimes do from stunts in movies, hehe, its always funny.

If its not too laggy, i dont mind being at the recording, seeing how the hard work progesses. Might take a while, but coming close.
