controles (key to weapon)

i know it isnt possible in gta2 manager but still i'm going to ask it

Can I put a weapon (like shotgun) on one key? so for example:

if i press the 1, I get the fist
if i press the 2, I get the pistol
if i press the 3, I get the shotgun
etc.

I did some thinking myself and maybe with a virtual joystick and the program Joy2Key...?

I think that this is impossible in GTA2 :/ Even by "hacking" keyboard...

oh, that would be a bummer...

I often get killed in gta2 (mp) because of the time I need to switch weapons and also pick the wrong one. In bf2 you can just press 1,2,3 etc. for the correct weapon.

Maybe if they ever release source code... Then it might be possible.

And try to pick up weapons you actually use, not the ones you dont use, they will be in the way. And when plannign to attack, check the weapons, lol. Thats what i do atleast.
