Hi Areen.
First i also need icon for editor itself.
As you know original editor uses blue city icon. It looks poor.
I need new one.
For example with text: "GTA2 Map Editor"
Or just some GTA2 style icon. Use your imagination.
Make some and send them to me.
And slope images.
Here is example:

GIF, PNG, BMP.
Make these 3 formats or just PNG for example, i could convert them by myself later.
But better if you create and send different formats.
Don't just do 63 all at once.
First make some examples and show me first.

Nice.
I think 16x16 is enough.
32x32 is probably too big, because images look somehow bad.
Not very smooth lines. 16x16 looks pretty fine.
Maybe you can make the sides more smoother?
And i don't know yet, how the rest of the slopes will look like.
Maybe you must change angle of view of the slope.
From your images, user should clearly understand how slope looks like.
Slope 0 is nice and accepted! Now the others..
Slope 1 should have some other angle of view or just smoother lines.
Change view angle and smoother lines and show me again.
Try to make few 32x32 also.

It all depends what slope it is.
Some slopes must be at specific angle to be recognized by user.
Also some slopes have specific directions.
Slope 1 and many others can look to left, right, top and bottom directions.
For example slope 1 could have such viewing angle, so it's clearly recognizable as slope 1.

Hmmm, for this slope, u get direction (more) from bottom. Yes, it looks clearly.
So, how about this slopes:
- 32x32 old clearly version.
and...
- 16x16 from screen
- 32x32 from screen.
I think that 2 last screens are the best, but i'm working at transparency. Later i give u better images ;]
Or... maybe u use in program white/gray background. Then transparency will be not important. Transparency in the program will hide when u use white background.
So, this is examples with white background:

Yep, much better, but use only RGB colors, like slope 0 has.
If you make white background, then it's OK.
And please make all images in PNG format. Not GIF or JPG.
Also, as i see slope 1 is smaller actually than 16x16. Image itself is 16x16 but slope 1 is actually even smaller than 16x16. Always fit the whole slope to the 16x16 area. Do not make it smaller than 16x16.
Hopefully you understand what i mean.

This is alpha 006. So far i optimized code, fixed some bugs i have found, have working on texture manager, added rotations like in DMA editor (still few things to do), added face culling. I have worked whole night at the texturing code and i can say that in a few days you should be able to see maps textured like they should. And i mean that. No more just one texture for whole map. Like in all of my videos so far but really textured like they should be. Few days and it will be done. Stay tuned.

it is possible to replace that operation (video) on a simple button? Like tick and draw.
Then we will draw on the building textures but textures will be mark one box before (not replaced by "wall" tetures) reversed and transparent.
