Tanks in 3rd city

Hi guys!

I'm of thoose who playd GTA2 when it was just released. But that times we playd it in computer clubs, multiplayer. Now its like a little nastalgie. I'm playing single game.

I've got a question: where and mostly HOW can i get a tank in 3rd city (industrial)?

I've seen 2 tanks and i was running around them for a long while, but i really cant understand, how to take even one of them.

Oh! I've just tried and now i know how to get one of tanks.

Its located near the Zaibatsu crane. In the cage. You need to take a JEFFERSON Vehicle and to jump there from the rampa, which is located opposite the cage with the tank. You need to be on a very good speed.

Twice i've jumped directly to the hollow in the wall and one even to the roof of the cage. It daznt matter, anyway u'll take the tank =)

Do you know where the "mad island" is?

Go to upper left cormer of the map (better have fast car and vest), now roads here are blocked to make something like circle. Tank is located on left almost on the edge of the map - you need to walk on the stairs, jump few times and you're done!

Isn't that easier to have unlimited amount of tanks by reaching sixth wanted level?

Simply park one NORMAL car behind Max Paint, start destruction (but don't wreck your parked car!), wait until you'll have maximum wanted level, steal as much tanks as you want, now jump into your parked car and respray it Smile

Yes, i've already done like that =)

This method is very effective to fight with Zaibatsu tanks on job of Russian Mafia "TANKS A LOT" , when Zaibatsu have 3 tanks to destroy cars of Kovski =)

Its beter to fight Tank vs Tank than with the rocketlauncher =)

Thank you for tellin' how to take tank in Mad Island. I've seen it, but I didnt try to take it for real, just didnt see the easy way and ran out.

I believe there's a tank, in some big cage, in industrial, where you need to jump on the roof, the demo shows it, of GTA2, if you just somehow(forgot how) made it start.

And a fast car is a MUST. Its quite a long jump, so far i remember.
